I had no idea that that collapse made the news outside of Israel. I guess when I think about what the international media write about when it comes to us it's always the terror attacks..
It was all over the news over here. It's been awhile but I know CNN covered it quite a bit, and I'm pretty sure it was on my local news as well. The footage was absolutely horrifying, and you couldn't watch ten minutes of TV without seeing either the clip or reference to it.
Feeling the floor shake like that, that wedding was the first thing that came to mind. I kept thinking that the building engineers *surely* knew what they were doing, so I just held my breath, crossed my fingers and hoped for the best! But yes, seriously scary. I've never felt anything like that.
