Braved work today. Less coughing, still, I managed to hack up a quarter of a lung during this afternoon's meeting. Whee! I'd rather sneeze than cough any day...my ribs are aching and my head hurts. I'm ready to be well like, yesterday.

Discovered something interesting today. When I found that they'd blocked LJ I assumed *all* of LJ was blocked. Today out of curiousity I went to the main page. No problem. Went to my LJ. No problem. Clicked through a random friend to bring up her friends list. NO PROBLEM!!! It seems that *my* friends page is blocked, and that's all. Can you believe it??? It's because I commented through my friends page, I'm sure. Argh! But at least if I'm careful (meaning, not checking LJ every 5-10 minutes), I'll be able to drop in on things during the day. Woohoo! Gotta love those loopholes.

Thanks to crafy studio work and an ear for something different, JC Chasez has delivered one of our fave albs of the year, Schizophrenic.

His solo effort away from *NSYNC is a mash-up of sounds from dance, soul, rock and pop - and is nothing like his boyband background.

Who's your best friend and why?

"I have a lot of best friends. My tour manager, Carlos, we understand each other. And of course all the guys in *NSYNC I consider my best friends. Everybody that worked on my record, like the producers, I consider my best friends - Rob Boldt, Alex Greggs, Brad Daymond - that's why we cut the record together. I wanted to make a record with my friends and have a good time."

Worst lie you've ever told?

"Any lie is bad enough. I'm not too bad. If it's a bad one I always get caught out 'cos bad stuff you can't lie about. There's too many people that know!"

Who washes your socks?

"I do my laundry except for the dry cleaning."

What confuses you about women?

"Everything! (takes a deep breath) 'cos you're very emotional people. What confuses me is why you don't understand me, because I'm right and you should know what I'm going through. And that's how I feel about it."

What are you scared of?

"Needles, I hate them!"

Final thought before you went to sleep last night?

"Why isn't the internet working in the hotel? It was driving me nuts. I haven't checked my email in three days. My mom's going to kill me!"

Biggest misconception about you?

"People tend to think I'm overly serious. I'm serious when the time needs to be but I can have fun too."

When did you last visit the dentist?

"Two weeks ago, right before the video shoot for All Day Long. We were filming it against a white wall, so I thought, 'I gotta get my teeth cleaned!' "

What's your favourite animal?

"If I picked one my sister would kill me - she's studying animals. I'm a big dog lover - man's best friend. I think that holds true with me."

What kind of person are you at parties?

"A little bit of everything. I'm pretty quiet unless I get around close friends then I'm a yapper. Some people have to go from table to table. Once I get my spot laid out, I chill. Then if I want to talk to somebody I'll get up now and then. I love laughing so when I'm out and about I love hearing jokes."

Best place you went on hols as a kid?

"We used to do car trips that would be three weeks long. It was great. My parents had like a hippy mentality. We would take a summer vacation and they'd go, 'Which way, left or right'. And we'd go 'left'. It was really cool. Then they'd say 'north or south'. And we'd go, 'south'. We drove across the country for about four summers in a row. Amazing memories."


On the Harry Potter side of my fannish mind, I don't like Hermione. I love Ron. *Love* Ron. A co-worker (and fellow Ron-lover) told me today that she knows someone who knows Rupert Grint. !!!!! ::mind boggles:: This person is giving her an autographed picture of the kid. I am *so* jealous. Am I running a fever or do I feel the fires of hell licking at my heels?

Evil! You're pure eeeeeeviiiiiil!!! I love him dearly but yes, with the teeth cleaning. I'd imagine it was quite an effort, seeing how he hates needles and sharp pokey things. I'd love to have been a fly on the wall at the dentist's office!

LOL! Which is what happened in the first place. I started popping in more often just before and after Schizophrenic dropped, and then I *really* got carried away when the tour started. I don't even know how many times I'd popped in LJ the week that I ratted myself out. And the funny thing is, I remember telling myself I needed to be careful and not to post or comment too many more times. ::le sigh::

(I only ask because I think he looks familiar and I'm trying to work out if it's because I've seen him or one of his siblings somewhere around, or if it's just because I'm nuts. :) (We live in Herts, y'see. :)

I'll get a clearer version of the story tomorrow. I think my brain shorted out when I heard, "...knows Rupert Grint..." Supposedly, this person has known him since he was a babe in arms, I do remember that much. Rupert! He's the reason I've watched my tapes so many times. Such an expressive face.

It really is. And this is going to sound odd, but maybe it will make sense. He's such a *boy*, you know what I mean?

I bought the first book ages ago and just never got into it. Then I bought the first movie, and I swear, within minutes of his first scenes, just fell in love with his character. After I'd watched the movie a few dozen times I finally read the book.

He's so much fun to watch, and his delivery is spot on, too.

Keanu! I had a mild crush on him at one point. :-) I thought he was hysterical in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. And the one about bank robbers and surfers...can never remember the name of it. He was from Ohio in that one, so yay!

Ahhhh, Ron Weasley. Yes, he's calling my name! I haven't abandoned the JuC, however. I've been trying to write, but it's useless when I'm not feeling well. I'll get a paragraph on the page and scratch it out. Bleh. ;-p

And thanks to the pics in your LJ comments and all the talk about you going...I've *got* to see JC again. It kills me how utterly sweet he is. And like, not in a schmoozing, charming way like Justin. Just, easy and sweet and adorable. Oh! And did you see him on On Air... (a short little segment thing, but still!) a couple of days ago?! He was sooooo cute and real hot! He told Ryan he (Ryan) was too pretty and said he (JC) looked a mess because he was all sweaty and they did that guy half-hug and, did I mention he was sweaty, too precious. Lucky Ryan! *aches*

She is incredibly annoying - she's not the kind of person I'd want to be around in RL. She's a shrill, nagging harpy. Oy, I probably couldn't be around her more than ten minutes without wanting to kill her. I know I'm distinctly in the minority. ;-)

That opposites attract thing with Ron...kill me now. All the bickering, Jesus! I know that JKR's setting them up for some big romance but honestly, I can't imagine what kind of relationship they'd have. It just makes my head hurt. Now, Ron and *Harry* on the other hand...
