It's five days later and we still haven't emerged from the shadow of Janet Jackson's right breast. Like George Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life, Janet's life nourishing jug has touched so many (re: 89 million) in such a short time, one hates to ponder what things would've been like if the rays of her nipple shield hadn't shone so brightly for the whole of a second. In guilt-by-boy-band association news, the NFL banned Timberlake's fellow 'N Sync member from performing at the Pro Bowl half-time show this Sunday. Chasez angrily lambasted the powers that be for canceling him over worries about the sexual content of his song "Blowin' Me Up (with Her Love)" even after they made him change the lyrics so that it would be a song sitting Chasez on a crate of explosives. A NFL spokesperson denies charges of being reactionary about the Jackson flap. "We just woke up Monday morning and realized, "Hey, we're the NFL and this guy was in N' Sync! Shouldn't we be booking Steppenwolf or something? What the hell is Bob Seger doing for coin these days?"
