Basement Jaxx
Kish Kash
You never know what to expect from Basement Jaxx, bar quality. Album No 3. is typically all over the shop, but the merchandise is top shelf. Particularly Good Luck, a glorious explosion of soulful vocals, an orchestra and storming beats to create their own Motown. The way cool vocals of Me'Shell Ndegocello suit the way-cool beats of Right Here's The Spot, US rapper Dizzzee Rascal commandeers the ballistic Lucky Star, while 'N Sync's JC Chasez ups his cred on the hectic Plug It In, complete with Prince-style vocals his falsetto-loving bandmate would be proud of. After the mellow If I Ever Recover they move into cyber punk with Siouxsie Sioux on the breakneck Cish Cash, this album's Where's Your Head At.
The Verdict: 3 and a half stars
In a Word: Intense
Other releases: Remedy (1999) Rooty (2001)
Source- Herald Sun, Thursday Oct 23rd paper- HIT music magazine section.

And have you seen JC's feet? Ahhh, lovely just like the rest of him. Check 'em out - it's my new wallpaper at work! Scanned by Miss Outcast and seen by me in
charlidos' journal.
I've never had a fannish wallpaper in the workplace, so we'll see what happens. ;-)
JC! I might as well put my soul in an envelope and mail it to him. He *so* owns me. ::le sigh::
