Someone on my friends list (I'm *so* bad at not putting stuff in Memories) posted an article a while back on the non-existent rights of same sex couples. That the couple on the reality show "Married By America" - two people who didn't know each other before the show began - had more rights after saying "I do" than a gay couple who'd been together for years.

If anyone out there knows the article or remembers the post that I'm mangling rather badly, I'd love to have the link.
