Grrrrrrr...
May. 28th, 2003 07:43 pmI feel like one of those tiny yappy dogs so irritated with their petite size that they snarl and yip over any and everything.
Grrrrr!!!
1) *Still* friggin' sick. Two weeks, and I've still got this cold. I am beyond not pleased about this. How long does it take to get over a sore throat and nasal drip, I ask you? AAARRRGGGHHH!!!
2) Work stress. Aiii! Aiii, aiii, aiii!!! While I was at the conference, I was consumed with a feeling of oh-so-cool professionalism. Woohoo! Conference!monkey! Woman with an expense account, a majorly kick-ass view of Chicago and a laptop, folks! This feeling was short-lived, as it died somewhere around my first day back to work. ::le sigh:: I think I'm officially at the point where I don't like my job. :-(
3) Waking up early. What the hell? I'm waking up at 3:00 a.m. almost consistently these days. Waaaah! I hate that! Something to do with being sick, perhaps? It can stop any time now. :-(
The good stuff...the consistently good press that Mr. Chasez is garnering these days. He's fabulous and I love him. JC!!!
Been writing! Also, plotting and looking for notes. Still haven't found the ending for the part after the next part of Chasez Lake, but I have a vague idea of what I intended, I believe. That section will be pretty straightforward, and I pretty much know what I want it to say. Wonder what the hell I did with the ending...? I'm paranoid that I'll leave something at work (oy, don't even want to imagine it), so I immediately fold my scribbles and tuck them in my tote. Then I periodically clean out my tote and shuffle the notes in a big holding basket on my desk. It's not a bad system, until it breaks down. Grrrr!
And now, back to your regularly scheduled LJ perusal.
Edit: And because I'm paranoid, I had to go check the SARS symptom chart. I don't have it! Just a moderate, lingering cold.
