Feb. 16th, 2003 06:56 pmFeeling weird and restless and strange tonight. Hate feeling like this.
It's snowed about a bajillion inches today, and it's still coming down. We're supposed to get more overnight. Are there snow days in my future? Please, I'm hurting myself from the laughing. If upper management decided to close down tomorrow they'd wait until 9:00, when most everyone had already shown up. Not that it would ever happen. So yeah, snow day? Hilarious.
Need to do a lot of things, none of which I feel like doing at the moment. Started out the day with great promise, did some stuff, and kind of petered out.
Justin's new tattoo - if it is indeed La Timberlake, that is - I hate it.
I like skin, great peach-, caramel-, chocolate-tinted sweeps of unmarked skin. I like the swoop and curve of muscle beneath skin, I like freckles and moles, and even scars can be sexy (Lance's eye or Harrison Ford's chin, anyone?). But a huge honkin' tattoo like Justin's? Or Nick Carter's? Yikes, it's like...it's a crime against nature. I don't hate all tats, but theirs seem to lack artistry.
I like Justin's cross. I was as surprised as anyone when it was unveiled, but I do like it now. The cherub? Not so much, and unlike the cross, I'm pretty sure I'm *never* going to like it. What's this mean to Justin? Nothing, of course. Just my opinion, just one fan bemoaning the loss of a little bit of beauty.
And now, because I'm feeling weird and restless and strange, I'm off to find something that will make me feel less so.
