chased_amy wrote this (go! read like the wind!), and it reminded me of something I meant to write in LJ a few weeks ago.

On September 26, 2002, I saw "Carlos" at work.

Freakiest. Thing. Ever.

There's an office on my floor that had been occupied for a while, but I'd never seen who moved in. It was a new guy, I knew that much; his name was unfamiliar.

I saw him that day for the first time in the hall and I swear I nearly said, "Carlos? What the hell!?" I was friggin' amazed. He's a little thinner, has a little more hair, looks maybe 26 to 28, and is about Carlos' height.

And the weirdest thing? My Carlos hate drained away. This guy is just adorable. He smiled and said hello as we passed each other, and he was friendly and absolutely adorable and I didn't hate Carlos anymore.

Yeah, it surprised me, too. :-D

I've seen him a few times since, and he's always smiling and pleasant and just...adorable. So, if JC's Carlos is half as happy and smiley and friggin' pleasant as this guy, how could you not love him?

I can't tell what I like best about Amy's story, 'cause I don't want to spoil it for anyone. But yeah, much with the liking it.

Carrrrrrrrrrrlitos, indeed.

And the LJ!popstars! The Threesome of Lurve is back in action, have admitted that they love each other, and seem to be ready to make a go of it. Yes! I may have done a jig of glee, but I'll never tell.
