Another icon! I'm a maniac!
Feb. 24th, 2002 02:27 pmIn honor of my severe TimberTrick issues, I have created a new icon.
Whee! I saw/taped the Olympics thing. The boys looked wonderful - well, what I could see of them anyway, what with that absolutely INFANTILE and JUVENILE camerawork! What the friggin' hell?
Why is it necessary to show the audience reacting to NSync's performance? I've got a size 8 shoe just waiting to be implanted between the buttcheeks of every idiot director who thinks crowd shots add "excitement" to a television broadcast. Hey! NSync's on! I'm already excited, you nimrods! Why the hell don't these people get that?
Can JC get more gorgeous? Is it possible? He looked so adorable, bundled up in his letter jacket. I have such a crush on him. His hair is shorter! But it's darker, at least, and it looks like he's gone back to his natural wavy thickness. I wanna smooch that boy.
NSync valentines! One box for 80 cents, and another for 74 cents! Yes, I'm squeeing! Can't remember if I've crowed over that yet, or not, so back to the Syncers on TV. The Michael Jackson thing is tonight, but then so is the Olympics thing. This is the what, third? time that this thing has been on, and every single time it seems to have been pitted against something else the boys were on that took precedence. And I missed it the first time around because TV execs here in Columbus assume that everyone and their dog cares deeply and religiously about Ohio State basketball. Newsflash! Not everyone does, guys, so stop assuming that we do.
I nearly missed the Atlantis concert when it was on because - get this - a "Road to the Rose Bowl" special was on. It was all about the grand and glorious tradition that is the yearly match-up between the Michigan and Ohio State football teams. Hello! I don't care! I was freakin' livid when I saw those commercials, and was close to slicing someone's liver out before I heard the (easily missable!) tag-line at a newsbreak that Atlantis would follow the Buckeyes thing.
That's life in a Big Ten college town folks. Ain't it sad?
