JC sings in mystery video on mystery song. WTF!?

Okay, shinetheway posted about this in her journal this morning, and we couldn't figure it out then, either. Apparently, JC's singing and appearing in a video for a song called "Makin' My Way" that also features Bubba Sparxx, Omarion, Michelle Branch, Brandy, and Sleepy Joey. Shine says that he sings a nice long solo too, as well as looking very pretty in the video.

And again, what the hell is this about? I've Googled every combination I can think of, peekabo0's been to the MTV site...nothing. What is it about JC Chasez that inspires -publicity?

The kicker? I actually tuned into the morning wakeup thing for a while earlier. Then I turned it off because - and yes, I actually said this out loud to my cats - "they never play JC anyway."

ARGH! Does anyone know what this is about?

He should hire ME! Seriously, for half the exorbitant amount he's being ripped off for now, I'd give him promo that would make his head spin. Even though I've never done it before. :-D Still, I couldn't do any worse than whatever doofus he's got in charge now, could I? I didn't think so.
