Dood! And another Schiz review!
Mar. 21st, 2004 09:44 amMan, I've been a bad fan lately. Unfortunately for me, a shortage of co-workers this past week sucked my will to live. I did manage to see JC on the MTV Spring Break thing with Ashlee Simpson, though. Is it me, or does she look like a really low-rent Paris Hilton wannabe? And what was up with Jessica Simpson being #3 on the list of all-time great Spring Break performances? Please. foxmonkey = cranky
Another review! Posted by Jayne at the Board with Many Lives but No Soul. He gets three stars! (Star ratings: 4 = excellent; 3 = good; 2 = fair; 1 = poor.) Except the reviewer doesn't like the ballads. I'm so confused; the ballads are wonderful.

Except for ballads, JC Chasez gets it

JC Chasez follows 'N Sync bandmate Justin Timberlake's "Justified" in issuing a solo debut that lives up to its name.
From the Gary Numanesque "All Day Long I Dream About Sex" to the Prince homage "100 Ways," this 15-track set, featuring a remix of the club hit "Some Girls (Dance With Women)," is all over the map.
But it's the intoxicating duality of hip-hop and '80s R&B on standouts "If You Were My Girl," "Shake It" and "One Night Stand" that forces you to come back for more.
The area in which "Schizophrenic" could use some treatment, however, is in the saccharine ballads "Build My World," "Dear Goodbye" and "Lose Myself." These days, they just seem entirely out of sync.
I'm not going to mention JC on MadTV. Know why? All I recorded was static and snow. I have no idea what happened *cough*husbandscrewedup*cough* but I'm trying to be JC-zen about it. Yes. See? This is me, being zen. Not killing anyone. Yes.
JC!

By the way, I loved your Jello Story. Are you going to post more of it?
Thank you! I love mischievous!JC, and I don't write him nearly enough.
I've got bits of it floating around and *cannot* find that folder to save my life. I wanted to write this weekend, finish it up, but offline life trampled all over that plan. I was so whooped Friday when I left that I was *physically* exhausted when I got home - and I don't have a physical job. Yesterday I napped away a few hours of the day. I'll probably work on it tonight, post the rest this week.
Outraged!insulted!Justin. I just love that tooooo much. ;-)
