Dreamwidth!
Sep. 6th, 2010 03:46 pmI think I'm ready to import my LJ entries to Dreamwidth and start posting from there. 0_o <--(why does that look funnier when other people do it?) My paid LJ account runs out in January, so that's when I'll start a paid DW account. I'll keep cross-posting though, since I hardly know anyone on Dreamwidth.
It's a little scary; it's kind of like when I started my LJ and had no friends. :( There's new terminology to learn, blah blah blah...in short, I hope that this will be my only and LAST journal move! Dreamwidth, don't let me down! Once I move I'll be with you for the long haul. :-)

Date: 2010-09-07 12:22 pm (UTC)I never thought I'd leave LJ, but with every change the new owners made it was more and more obvious that they really had no idea what they'd bought.
Here's the link to the Dreamwidth FAQ page:

I seem to recall seeing a direct LJ/Dreamwidth comparison, but God only knows where! I'm thinking it should be linked somewhere in the FAQ.
I'm *just* starting to look around the site myself; there are a couple of communities for new members so they can ask questions, etc.
I hope you find all the info you need!
