More devoted SyncSlaves! Hahahahaha!
Aug. 1st, 2001 12:26 amHA! So, I may have Syncified/corrupted a co-worker.
She's into O-Town, but found out today at lunch that she just purchased their album over the weekend. So she's only been into the *idea* of a boyband, then. I ask her how she liked it. Turns out that it's far too commercial for her taste. The name-dropping models/actresses song turned her off (Liquid Dreams, probably?), and then another song mentioned MTV...kinda like obnoxiously obvious ad placements in movies. *shudder* So she found that off-putting. I was thinking, but didn't vocalize, hello? Whaddya expect from a group that was formed on a TV show, for crap's sake? Here's the sentence that got my evil little ears a-twitchin': *sigh* "I might have to find a new boyband." Faster than you could say "JC", I graciously offer to let her borrow my NSync CDs. I give her the first and NSA, to reel her in slow. I drop the CDs off at her desk, pointing out my boy, JC.
Hours later, after she'd been listening much longer than I expected, she shows up at my door, grinning. She *loves* NSA. She loves it so much that she hasn't even listened to the first album yet! She keeps NSYNC for tomorrow. She's a happy girlie, and I'm hoping that I'll finally have someone to squeal with. :-) I'm not sure who she'll adopt as her favorite. Hmmm, she just might turn out to be a Justin girl, though Lance or Chris could make surprise showing. This'll be interesting!
I made a couple more icons, so *now* I have ten. They look like this:

12:38am! Freakin' time for bed! Why do I do this...

Date: 2001-08-01 05:58 pm (UTC)Nice icon, sweets! Did you make it? I love checking out different icons; it's amazing what some people can do with 100x100 worth of pixels!
Did I tell you that I'm going to see the cuties in person? In 19 days! I probably won't have any cool concert stories to relate (I'm not one of the people that Things happen to), but I'll sure as hell do me some seat dancing! I'm especially proud of my flippy hand to the chin thing for Pop. That's like, my *move.*
