What a moron.
Feb. 18th, 2004 06:00 pmWritten in response to this article: Bass says he's still 'N Sync
Mr. Picture,
I'm writing in reference to your recent feature, "Bass says he's still 'N Sync," which is a sloppy, dismissive, condescending blurb about NSync and its individual members.
There are five members of the band, not four, and while *you* might think Mr. Bass is unattractive and forgettable, that's neither here nor there in the context of the item.
And if, by his omission, you're slyly implying that in reality Chris Kirkpatrick is the most forgettable and least attractive member of the group, you might want to re-think this writing strategy in the future. It doesn't make you look clever.
I wonder though, if you'd even given it that much thought. I suspect that my first impression is correct: the blurb was simply ill-researched and hastily thrown together.
Your readers, the members of NSync, and their fans all deserve better.
