Usually when I begin with something like, "I've been thinking..." my husband groans. Bwahahaha!

Seriously though, I'm thinking the Random feature for visiting new and exciting journals would be even *more* fun if it excluded friends-only journals from the search. Nothing like a big "If You Weren't Invited, Go the Fuck Away" banner to brighten your morning. ;-)

I don't often (hmmm, never?) get political in my journal, but yikes.

Bush. Is. An. Idiot.

And now is the time on Sprockets when we feature [livejournal.com profile] sherrold_ish's penguin! This is one of my favorite LJ icons:

The penguin knows what's up, yo.

And please, for the love of God, will someone remind me not to go to the JJB between now and JC's release date? I call it the Board of Soul-Sucking Doom for a reason, and I tend to forget that sometimes. The freakin' negativity is unbelievable! I can be as gloomy and cynical as the next guy, but JESUS, folks. Just...have some pancakes or something.

And on that note: JC! I love him.

The only time that it's safe to go to the JJB is when someone you trust points to something that is mock-worthy. Other than that, it's just a gaping black hole of nothingness. Pretty much the same as Bush, then.

Mmm, pancakes.

Yes! And the fact that I should know this by now is the sad part. I'm going to see how long I can stay away.

Pretty much the same as Bush, then.

Mwahaha! Yes, 'tis true. ;-)

Yes, the board of doom can suck out every good thought you've ever had...and they say they are fans...it's terrifying.

And even scarier than that? George W. Bush. Yep.

It's one thing for a discussion thread to turn pessimistic. Different opinions and whatnot. But to *start* a thread entitled, "This is going to suck and here's why..." ARGH! ARGH, ARGH, ARGH! Put that crap in your journal and leave me alone!

Wordy McWord on that one. *Big* time.

Pancakes is right! That's what they need. I have a low tolerance for negativity in general. And when it goes on and on for an eternity it's practically insupportable.

Pancakes and hugs, a la JC! Some of those posts make me want to rip my eyes out.

There really are no words for Bush. You hear horror stories of Republicans like him, but you don't think they REALLY exist, outside of TV and Movies, and that Americans would never elect someone like him. And then they do, and all you can do is shake your head in absolute disbelief at the man who is, I shy away from the phrase "running our country," but, I guess I'll use a Harry Truman analogy. A president is nothing more than a glorified PR person, and Bush. is. horrible.

I've never felt so political in my life, but I'm fired up about this election. I'm about to go stand on the street and let people know why they can't vote for Bush. For the love of God, write in someone if you feel so inclined. Write in yoursel, if you want. But do not give this man your vote.

See, that's the thing. I honestly and truly don't believe he won the election.

I've never felt so political in my life, but I'm fired up about this election.

Me neither. My husband and I were talking about this the other day - there's no way Bush can stay in office another four years. He's like a spoiled little boy *playing* at being president.

I'm beginning to think that he might not just be stupid, but truly psychotic.

I'm in the Anyone But Bush camp. I have never disagreed so completely with any president. He does not represent me. The worst part is that he appears so smug and self-righteous. He smirks at the most inappropriate times and I don't expect that from someone in his position. I do expect him to be knowledgeable and compassionate. He is neither.

Beautifully said.

The worst part is that he appears so smug and self-righteous.

That's what gets me about this whole war deal. He's the biggest draft dodger out there, and every day kids are getting killed overseas in a war he started. He absolutely *sickens* me.

LOL! I love how *gleeful* he looks about it, too. "Bush is a wanker! Heeheehee!" Makes me laugh every time. ;-)

*whips up batter* See, we can feast, and then we can use our kitchen implements to bop JJBers on the head!

Bwahaha! Yes, it's what they deserve!

That reminds me of my brother's best friend when we were growing up. That kid was a menace! His mom used to bop him on the head with a wooden spoon when he misbehaved. He was a pretty thick-skulled little dude, so he could take it. ;-)
