I'm writing/editing/doing stuff! but it's time for a sanity break.

I used to have the perfect fic-writing album. Dave Matthews Band, Before These Crowded Streets. I have unholy love for this album, but I fear I've listened to it a million and a half times too many, because it's just not doing the trick. Blast it.

I'm currently listening to 'Sour Girl' by Stone Temple Pilots. MASSIVELY unholy love for this song.

The day that I discovered Sports Night fic, I put 'Sour Girl' on repeat and honest to Moses, listened to nothing else while I read everything in the automated Sports Night archive. Well, all the Dan/Casey, anyway. We're talking at least eight hours here, of 'Sour Girl' and fic. I've heard this song about a kazillion times and it never gets old. Love. It. The olfactory sense might be the one most closely linked to memory, but ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, when I listen to this song and think back on that day, it's like I'm there. Good times. :-)

So glad to hear that rumors of JC's album pushback have been greatly exaggerated. I'm way out of any loop I might have once been in, so, yay! I don't think I can take another pushback. No.

And how cool is it that we've got little robot tractor guys trundling over the surface of Mars? Such amazing things we can do.

I'm all forllowing the ups and downs and pushbacks and whatevers for this record, and it gives me thrills and I get upset and angry and happy, and then, after all that I realized that I live in friggin Denmark, and here, JC is "that guy who isn't Justin", and hell, we might never see that album. Humph. The drama we're willing to go through for the pretty.
