*Beautiful* new JC pictures are floating around: this one and this one (scanned by [livejournal.com profile] loveisimmortal, posted by [livejournal.com profile] fuskeez, detagged by [livejournal.com profile] jchalo) if you haven't seen them. He's just the most incredible creature, honestly. Those eyes. Jesus, he just turns me into mush. If I weren't a married woman I'd have a mad, insane crush on this guy. Hey wait, I already do! Bonus, here's one from the Teen People (Cosmo Girl?) shoot ages ago.

And now the not-JC portion of this post.

So I was surfing around, following Harry Potter links and things, and happened upon this little Potterverse manip gallery. My favorites are the Witch Weekly covers, especially Harry's and Oliver Wood's.

Me, being me, got inspired. I thought it would be nice to see Ron Weasley on the cover a magazine. A GQ cover would be nice; in the wizarding world its equivalent would probably be WQ (Wizard's Quarterly). And thus a cover was born.

fox + sparkly handbag + road to hell =

Yes, I've fully embraced my shame, thank you very much.

Roooooooon!

And, oh, that dragon handling brother of his. He's my favorite. And he should still be slashed with JC. ;)

Roooooooooon!!! I have unholy amounts of love for that kid. And if I freely admit that I'm going to hell, that's half the battle, right? ;-)

Charlie's the dragon handler, Bill's the curse-breaker. I hope, hope, hope that they remember that Bill's supposed to be a stud when they cast his part!

I can't think of any hot redheaded actors in that age range, so it'll be interesting to see what they come up with. I can't think of any hot redheaded actors period. Hmmmm.

Um. There was a read head in a TV movie that I saw once. He played someone's boyfriend. And there's the guy who played Sam on Diff'rent Strokes. He's got to be pretty old by now. And, uh...that may be it.

ROFL! Yeah, let's get that guy! That seriously cracked me up.

I remember that kid, the one who sang country songs? I'm almost ashamed to admit this, but I remember his name, Danny Cooksey. A few years ago he showed up on Salute Your Shorts, a show on Nickelodeon. I think I'd be afraid to see what he looks like now! ;-)

Man, I hope the casting opportunities are better overseas!

I absolutely can not believe you remember that kid's name.

Apparently, this is what he looks like now.

The shame! I have a really weird knack for remembering actors' names and filmographies. I blame it on my father - he's one of those people who know someone looks familiar but can't remember where he saw them.

TV watching in my house was like a Jeopardy show, swear to God. "Who's that guy? I *know* I've seen him before. What was he on? You know who I mean.." My brother and I, in order to keep this kind of thing to a minimum, became walking, talking encyclopedias of entertainment trivia.

Danny Cooksey, all grown up! Hmmm. Not Bill material, but I could picture him as Charlie the dragon handler. Interesting.

I can actually picture him as Charlie, too. Little Sam grew up with an edge.

Ewan McGregor's hair would dye red very well, I think. And he's what, around 30?

Ewan McGregor. Hmmm, that's an interesting thought. *Really* interesting.

So I'm at this website about famous redheads, and what do I see? Ewan McGregor. Birthdate, March 31, 1971.

Woohoo! We need a petition. ;-)
