Has anything happened to you that made you want to cry? Something that you'd like to shake off and maybe laugh a little and say, "Whatever!" so it doesn't hurt? Something that, in the grand scheme of things with all the *truly* terrible things happening in the world, shouldn't mean that much? And you're maybe even a little bewildered yourself that it's hitting you so hard?

I'll feel better this evening, I suppose. In the meantime, work beckons.
