Ten things I want for JC.

I started to do Twenty Things I Love About JC, but thought I'd do this instead.


:|: Ten Things I Want for JC :|:

1) I want him to be happy. As happy and smiley as he appeared in the pictures from the Avalon opening the other day. He should always be that happy. Always.

2) I want his solo career to go forward without another hitch. The first single is supposed to drop in November, and that's what I want to happen. Why? No more drama for my boy, because [see number one].

3) Related to number two, I want the album to drop as scheduled at this moment, which seems to be January 27, 2004. No more delays. Why? No more drama for my boy, because [see number one].

4) I want him to be recognized for his amazing talent. He's got a friggin' *amazing* voice. I want critics to be awed. I want "boyband" nay-saying haters to be stunned.

5) I want everyone he's ever admired to come busting out of the woodwork to offer him guest shots on their albums. Sting, Prince...I'm looking at you for starters.

6) I want a major publicity campaign for the album. He deserves it. It looks like there might have been a decent effort underway the first time around, had there not been so many stops and starts and pushbacks. I've got my fingers crossed that once they get it in gear, it'll be big.

7) I want him to absolutely *kill* on Wade's show. I want people calling TRL and the JIVE offices, wanting info on the album, now.

8) I want his songs to be nominated for numerous awards.

9) I want his songs to win numerous awards.

10) I want him to win a Grammy.

This is a great list! And I'm not surprised at all that #1 is for a Happy!JC. You sure do love that boy.

This is really the average MTV fan's first look at JC on his own. I know that he's going to be awesome. I've got all ten fingers crossed for ADIDAS.
