I'm freeeeeeeeeeeezing.
Jan. 11th, 2006 10:01 pmTalking to Dad and flexing my fingers periodically in order to keep the blood from freezing in my veins. OY! Felt weird and disconnected today, and my brain just would *not* kick into gear. I'm thinking it's because I got approximately 1.5 hours of sleep last night, thanks to Hubsmonkey and the monkeycats. I hate feeling that way, all fuzzy-brained with eyes that won't focus and a brain that won't process. Aiiii, carumba.
Yay! The jet engine has been silenced - mostly! Got the HumVee back from the computer guys today and the jet engine whine has been taken care of. Still not as quiet as the little stealth bomber laptop (no noise! I love it!), but muuuuuuuuch better. I am apparently about as boring as cheese tonight.
scot_ty is waiting with bated breath for my first SG-1 story. Hahahahaha! What a funny woman. Although I *did* find a Daniel/Cameron snippet that I wrote, a verrrrrrrrrrry short character sketchy kind of thing that wasn't too embarrassing to read. No idea what I'd do with it, if anything, so it's in limbo at the moment with a lot of other stuff. I've got the faintest itch of a JuC story twitching between my shoulder blades, so we'll see what comes of that. I'm about to bust out with something, I can just feel it.
Seems like there was something else I was going to write but I'm off now to investigate the covers on my bed. This is best accomplished in a prone position with said sheets pulled firmly up to one's chin, possibly beyond. Ah, sweet sleep, she beckons me.
