Happy 34th birthday, Chasez! Yes, I still adore you. ::kiss::
Five The time when the guys thought that JC and Justin were secretly Batman and Robin.
-:: ::-
After a few shots of tequila too many, Chris stumbled into the bookcase and they were all startled when a portion of the wall slid back, revealing a plain stainless steel door set flush into a stainless steel wall.
"Dude, what the fuck!?" Chris said, slightly awed. He glanced at JC, who shot a very quick look in Justin's direction.
JC rose smoothly but quickly from his seat on the floor. "It's a home vault. Tapes from our shows and stuff, you know. Original mixes, that kind of thing." He moved to the bookcase, righted the things Chris had up-ended. In his inebriated state, Chris couldn't quite catch what JC did to make the false wall slide back into place, but it did, and the mysterious steel door was hidden once more.
"Wow," Joey said, blinking. "That's...excessive."
"That's an excellent idea," Lance disagreed. "Who put it in? Can I get the number?" He'd already whipped his cell phone out of his pocket.
This time Chris didn't miss the split-second look between the mouse twins. Something was up, and he was man enough to admit that he hated being excluded from their secrets. He cackled and slapped Lance on the thigh.
"Forget it man, that's probably his super secret lair, or something. You won't get anything out of JC."
