foxmonkeyRead a kick-ass crossover fic last night, Through a Glass, Darkly by TokenBlackGirl. A nice, long Supernatural/Doctor Who crossover that'll have you weeping with the goodness.
It's a Dean/Martha pairing (HOORAY!), with Sam, Bobby, Ellen, Ten, Donna, and Capt. Jack as the other half of the main cast, with familiar Doctor Who/Supernatural baddies in terrifying supporting roles. Lilith and the Master, natch, are in attendance.
If you've ever eyed Martha and Dean and thought it was just too much pretty to hit the screen at one time, and that you would EXPLODE FROM THE YUMMY GOODNESS if it ever happened, you owe it to yourself to take this story for a test drive. The dialogue and voices of each character are eye-poppingly spot on.

Date: 2010-01-24 04:42 pm (UTC)UK person! :( I don't even know how to describe Supernatural properly, but it's a pretty awesome show if you like hot brothers driving around the US in a classic car, listening to classic 70s metal bands, hunting and killing all manner of supernatural critters. I think they've just been renewed for a new season, and they're just beginning to wrap up the fifth.
Supernatural episode guide. Hmmmm, I Googled a bit to see if you could watch online for free somewhere, but no dice so far. :-(
Dean Winchester = Jensen Ackles. I am *such* a Dean girl. I'm shallow enough to appreciate his good looks, but I mostly appreciate his work with the character. Very expressive face, he's a joy to watch.
Sam Winchester = Jared Padalecki. A doll! Completely adorable, and *ridiculously* buff. He's about 6'4", which Dean makes jokes about from time to time, talking about his brother's "gigantic head" and such.

Hmmmm, actually, the fic might serve as an interesting introduction to the world of Supernatural. Read Dean's background (link above) before reading the story, and...hmmmm. Keep in mind that he's never had a relationship that lasted longer than two months, and in canon, there's only one woman he was shown to have truly loved.

Someone posted the newest Supernatural; I'm thinking it would probably be too much to hope for that all the episodes are available, but we'll see.

Oh, thanks. I confess I hadn't thought to look there for it. I'm three chapters into the x-over fic, though, and enjoying it even without having watched the show...
