OY. Okay, so one good headbutt later, a little light clicked on in my head and I was able to crop and resize my image using Seashore. Hooray! And I figured it out on my own, mostly! Unfortunately, the text I applied looks like complete and utter crap. Waaaah! My brain, she is hurting! She's not used to being used on the weekend, and learning to use Seashore is causing an uprising in my skull.

Writing! As usual, the ending is giving me grief. My New Year's revolution is to start writing the endings FIRST, then it'll all be gravy and chicken from that point forward. YES. Well...lumpy gravy and chicken with splintery bones, perhaps, but you get my drift.

I'm craving a donut, but we currently have no donuts in the house. There could be a few Little Debbie blueberry muffinlets left, though. Off to investigate, and then write. ::cries::

What might you be writing?

I think it's pretty cool about writing the endings first, interesting way to approach.

Honestly, it's absolutely ridiculous how I'll get to the end of a piece, WITH THE ENDING IN MIND, and just. can't. finish. It's...it's like some bizarre psychosis or something. I think I've only had a couple of pieces EVER, in my long history of writing fic, where the stories ended so perfectly and easily that I was actually surprised. My muse is a horrible, spiteful cow. ;-p

I'm writing...and it feels goooooooooooood to say that again, because for so long I just couldn't, and then I just plain didn't want to -- because it felt like I just couldn't anymore...and then it seemed like I'd never be able to again, that my words had all dried up. So yes, this is wonderful, to be truthful, to be able to say that I'm writing and have it not feel like a knife through the heart.

I'm writing (have written, I think the ending finally came to me, I think), a het (everybody run!) short fic for Merlin. I love, love, love Merlin, and I love Gwen/Arthur. So yes, a short Gwen/Arthur piece.

And! I'm writing, editing really, a longish JuC that I started and pretty much completed ages (and I really mean AGES) ago but never finished editing. Sometimes it seems lilke the more you edit the more you find wrong so you have to fix that and before you know it you're just plain tired. So I've decided to dust off a few JuC things that have been languishing. I wanted to have it done by the weekend, which is not just hilarious, but completely insane. I'm hoping to have it edited and ready to post in a couple of weeks. Maybe by Justin's birthday, come to think of it! :-D

I think it's awesome that you are excited about it. Sorry that the muse is so bitchy!
