JC leaving JIVE?

Initiated by finding the following post on LJ:

"Since there are no official announcements, for now I'm keeping track of things in this post for now.

- In this thread on the JJB, someone quotes a post on JC Source: Hey, I received word from my friend at Jive NYC, that JC was officially dropped from the label as of Sept. 5th.

- Rumor is posted in LiveDaily BSB forum as "JC dropped from Jive"

- Manda posts on the JJB: JC is leaving Jive, whatever they might be saying. According to JayneOC's source, JC threatened to initiate a breach of contract suit some time ago. There may be a press release.

I can add that Jayne's source is pretty damn accurate, including such tidbits of info such as the Santana song, recording with Justin, the Ghost Whisperer appearance, the Las Vegas appearance...as well as more personal things like the tree in his house before we heard about it, as well as having Thanksgiving with Chris, etc.

She told a few of us that we could hear something as early as last week about JC leaving Jive and that there would be a press release and that no matter what was said in the press that JC wanted to leave Jive and he was the one that initiated the process.

I guess they threatened to sue for breach of contract and that got Jive moving, but this has been something that's been going on for a while. Jayne's source mentioned right before YRM was released that if it wasn't promoted and handled to JC's satisfaction that he would look into leaving, and as we know it was barely handled so these past three months he's probably been spending trying to find ways to be let go or to get out.
