LOL! Yeah, poor JC, the wronged man, delivering the ultimatum: "It's me or the beard!"
And yeah, even though Melinda's come out with the official denial, I'm still skeptical. It just took way too long for them to finally say something, and then it was only Brit, and even now, it's Melinda, not Justin. So yeah, I think an official breakup will be announced once the tour's over.
Someone at the JJB asked what benefit there'd be to sitting on the breakup until the tour was over, and I can think of one - we wouldn't have to read/hear about it 24/7 instead of concert reviews! They've gotten some pretty amazing reviews so far (give or take a crack-snorting reporter or two); I can just imagine some of the crap we'd have to endure:
"NSync's hottie frontman Justin Timberlake poured his heart into "Gone", the Grammy-nominated tune he penned one day when Spears was late returning from a hair appointment. There wasn't a dry eye in the arena during Timberlake's soulful, heart-rending delivery. Is it possible that Justin's already regretting the split from his pop princess? Only time will tell."
