Unnnnnnnnnnnnnnnh, yes, I'm still alive. Work has been sucking the very LIFE out of my soul - not so much work itself, though that sucks too, seeing how I'm part-time (most of the time) performing the old job that I hated - but it's the other stuff, the political crap, that's driving me crazy. I can't believe how naive I was for the first half of my career. God, I was such a babe in the woods! Then again, I started in a different department. I'll leave it at that.

I missed The 4400 last week, but didn't feel too torn up about it. I tuned into last night's ep with fifteen minutes to go, then realized it was the season finale. Dammit! Had I known that, I'd have tuned in! So I DVR'd that puppy and watched it this afternoon. From the looks of it, season three might have to go on without me. ;-p Oy, oy, and oy. ...and I just lost whatever else I was going to say, dammit.

Yay, vacation later in the week! I'm tacking a few days onto the long weekend, go me! No plans except to watch a few marathons, maybe eat some barbecue, and hang with Dad.

And now I'm going to do a little surfing.
