Two new LJ friends! Yes, I feel the need to announce these things, as older friends should know by now. This shall never cease to make me happy in a Christmas-morning type of way. :-)

My Slash Across America story is coming along quite nicely, thanks. I have a title and a half-finished graphic. Yes! That's friggin' all! I also have a vague idea of what I want to write, kinda. <--- (vague in action)

So, after watching BSB yesterday on Saturday Night Live (Sunday afternoon! Taped!), I have admitted my Kevin Love. Yeah, the man's hot, happy now? I want to see him slashed with JC, many, many times. I think that they would have a quietly intense love affair that would make their bandmates jealous, and would make Chris cry, because he never had the courage to tell JC how he really felt deep inside, and now it's too late. If anyone wants to grab that bunny and feed it, woohoo! All yours.

I am also regretting that I saw some BSB video-compilation tape at the thrift store the other day, and I didn't get it. For 99 cents! I was going to, as research, you know, but I didn't. That was before I saw the SNL rerun, even! I'll never get into them, I don't think; I'd have been sucked in before now. But Kevin. rawr.

Hmmm, I do feel the need to point out that Kevin should never, ever, ever be allowed to sport cornrows again. Ever. EVER. Completely unflattering, Kev. Don't do it.

O-Town can't dance! Seriously, cannot dance! I'm flashing back to the MTV New Year's show, here. I was waiting for Girlfriend to premiere, and caught like, the last part of the O-T'ers (pronounced "oaters") performance. Saw...Jacob? twitching his hips and doing something weird with his arms, a shimmy thing. My jaw dropped, thought, "Ha! He's making fun, joking around." He was serious! Seriously trying to dance! Later, rewound the tape and viewed this many, many times to be sure. He wasn't just funnin', he really thought he was dancing. I was sad for him.

Oh yeah, they can't sing, either!

NSync is clearly the leader in the vocal-group-consisting-of-young-men field. I love them. They can sing, they can dance, they're silly, they love each other (in non-touchy ways), and are comfortable enough with each other to sometimes appear to love each other in touchy ways as well. JC, my sweet, I adore you and your friends to pieces. *mwah*

You are so right! That's what makes them so great - it's the way they treat each other and how much they care about each other, on top of the singing-dancing talent and the sense of humor about what they do. They make my heart all mushy and I voluntarily withstand much fun-poking because of my love for these boys.

A couple of things...

It was one of those mornings. ;-)

O-Town! Man, those guys...I have no words. I mock a co-worker who likes them. I'm like, try a real group, woman! Oddly enough, her husband loves NSync.

I feel a burning need to make disrespectful O-Town icons. Oops! More of them.

Yes! They're so friggin' cute. I love watching performers who are clearly having fun doing what they're doing. I wanna see smiles and winks, dammit! I love how the Syncers always manage to crack JC up at some point. Here's this lovely man singing his heart out, and his buddies are trying to make him laugh. How can you not love that?

They should be illegal, they're so cute!

And that means that YOU have the same birthday as Kevin Richardson! (I am reading the profile thingy right, right? Your birthday is October 3rd, not March 10th? Hehe, I would be most amused if I got it wrong.)

Yay, Libras!

Stop...my new BSB crush shares my birthday!? OhmyGod! Not a BSB fan, but I love me some Kevin Richardson.

Jeez, now I'm sitting here grinning like an idiot. :-)
