Thank you so much to everyone who offered condolences on losing my kitty. I love my friends list. ::hugs:: I'll thank all of you personally, but I wanted to give a big group hug. ((((((((friends list!)))))) Thank you. It really meant a lot to me.
Things are getting back to normal. It was such a quiet, weird week! *Very* quiet. A couple of times I thought I heard him. Auditory hallucination, I suppose. The two remaining cats were off-balance as well. I can't describe it, but they definitely knew something was up. Now that it's been a week and they've figured that Hobbes isn't coming back, the little power games have begun, complete with scrapping to decide who's the new head cat. ;-)
The week had a great ending, though - I'd been pulled back into my old job parttime because they were caught short-handed when one of the teammembers took another job about a month after my friend quit. OH MY GOD. Yeah, pain in the ass. I've hated every moment of it. I haven't done this stuff for a year! I hated it then, so you can imagine how much I hate it now, when it isn't even my job. I've been coming in a few hours on the weekend in order to keep from falling too far behind in my REAL job. Anyway.
Yay! The two new hires are in place and one of them started yesterday. She's starting out on the stuff I hate so I don't have to do those things anymore! YAY, YAY, YAY!!! I still have one thing I'm responsible for, but it's the one thing I don't mind doing too much, so YAY YAY YAY!!!
I'm watching The Real Housewives of Orange County. Please, somebody help me.
