Ennui est me!
Jun. 27th, 2004 06:46 pmOuch, how's that for some butt-spankingly bad Franglais? Or should that be Frenglish? Anyhoo.
It's been so lovely and cool here the last week or so, more the way summer's supposed to be, to my way of thinking. Not so much with the radiation burns after ten minutes, and more with the sunshine and comfortable 72 degree temperatures. Ahhhhh. This is like summers from my childhood, back before we broke the ozone layer.

scot_ty, the HP one is like, a sentence away from hitting your inbox. What is it with these single sentences that defy my attempts to bend them to my will? Bend, damn you! Willful fic. I am not amused.
And! Hmmmm. Something else. Ah! My house is tiny, wee, even. Very wee. Such a tiny thing that it's more like a houselet than a house. Very small!
There is no guest bedroom. There's our room and what's now a computer room, and that's it. For years we've been kicking around multi-function options for the computer room, like a daybed or a futon. Then I discovered chairs with pull-out beds, like sleeper sofas, only in chair form. Coolness! But I've found something even better, it's an ottoman that folds out into a bed! Except I'd get the red leather version, because, yes. I love this, it's the perfect solution because it's smaller and more compact than either a daybed or futon, and much more flexible. Now I know exactly what I want when the time comes. Yay!
I'm thinking Chinese sounds very, very good for dinner. Mmmm, haven't had it in ages. There's a new delivery joint in the area, with an impressive menu. I'm thinking the Return of the King and Chinese food would be an excellent combo.
