Helping out are producer Rockwilder, Basement Jaxx and one Dirt McGirt (aka Ol' Dirty Bastard), who pops up the lead single/track "Some Girls (Dance with Women)."

The CD sports an impressive spread of guest singers from the pop superstar JC Chasez of N'Sync fame to goth-punk icon Siouxsie Sioux. Originally, I had questioned the quality and continuity of a CD that could feature both a mainstream pop-icon and a gothic diva. Though by the end, Chasez's lyrical talent was moulded around Jaxx's ability to make anything work and Sioux's vocals vaulted the general quality of the CD with contrast.
And now the Britney Spears Alexander portion of this entry. All I can do is shake my head.
It's sad that same-sex couples who've been together longer than Britney and Jason have been alive are legally blocked from enjoying what these two did as a joke. Sad, sad, sad.

I never thought of it that way...and you make a really excellent point.

"Married by America", "Marry a Bachelor" and the rest. Committed partners can't be together legally, but any shmoe can appear on a TV show and get hitched to a total stranger? It's just not right.
