It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood...

It's gorgeous outside. Cloudless sky, sunny, and mostly quiet. Some idiot across the street feels the need to impress us with the fact that he's got a cordless phone (take it inside, bozo), and someone else just started up a power tool. But yes, beautiful.

If I had cash I'd go thrift-shopping. But alas, funds are low. Just found out the father-in-law is in town. The house is a *mess*, so I hope he doesn't just pop in. I wouldn't be happy. If he wants to do dinner and coffee out, though, that would be much of the cool.

I'm feeling less inclined to write today, and more inclined to read. But! There's a story! I keep thinking that either Kel or Tiffany Rawlins wrote it, but I couldn't find anything on Tiffany's page. Can't find Kel's at all, though I *swore* I had a link. Anyway.

It's post-Sync, and JC goes to visit Chris, I believe. Soon they're working on a song, and I think Chris owns a studio? Then JC ends up living with Chris and happiness ensues. I want to reread it and can't find it. Waaaah! Help me, friends list, you're my only hope.

That sounds familiar to me, too. But I think I read it back before I started logging everything I read.
It had Chris living above the studio, right? Or maybe there was jsut an apartment there and they used it?

Squee! Yes, there were apartments and studios and stuff. Someone found it for me. :-) And! I now have Kel's site bookmarked, so two birds, one stone. Woohoo!

That sounds similar to Kim's Promise Never, Promise Forever.

It also sounds a little bit like Tiffany's The Long Run, but that one is a Trickyfish story.

Squee! That's it. I'm looking at it now, and even though parts of it seem unfamiliar, a lot of things are clicking in my head. Man, it's been *ages* since I read this. Thanks. :-)

I loved that one, too, and thought that was the one I was looking for, at first.

Thanks!

somebody's already figured out that this one wasn't me, but i'm that girl who can't resist saying that my site moved over here (http://obsessivetendencies.net/songs) if you're ever looking for it.

And I'm the girl who's very glad that you did. :-)

Thanks! I've got the site bookmarked now. I see a Sunday morning of Kel!fic in my future...
