I made it.
Friday. Never thought it would get here, wondered if I'd survive. I feel like I've walked from here to NYC and back, while carrying a backpack full of rocks, wearing a cap two sizes too tight, with my fists pressed into my eyes the entire time.
Tired and achy and sore doesn't begin to cover it.
Got through the day without email from the big boss, HURRAY! Actually got to finish my Project from Hell without comments - which is what I was dreading. Questions about why something had or hadn't been done, could it have been done sooner? What might the outcome have been if...? Got everything properly documented in triplicate (kid you not), and got the hell out of Dodge. Will I still be on the hotseat Monday? Who knows.
Met up with a couple of my lunch buds directly following my release from the workplace, and proceeded to down a couple of frozen margaritas. Yum! Peach and strawberry.
And JC's going to be a judge on Wade's new dance show.

Oooookay. That has quite effectively Jossed and rendered ineffective something I've been working on. The question is, rework and leave the larger premise, or just junk the scene entirely? Decisions, decisions.

2. I'd rework--in my experience, scenes rarely go away as easily as that. See what else you can make of it, with as few edits as possible. It's amazing how unspecific fic can be, even the parts you think are really specific.
3. I desperately want to see you write Justin's reaction to this little titbit of information. [giggles] And the way JC makes it up to him.

Bwahahahahaha! Yeah, it's pretty specific. I'm leaning toward leaving it in, because even with JC and Wade apparently doing the TV show thang, I do believe something *major* went down between Justin and Wade.
