So, after ripping out a few handfuls of hair, I'm taking a break from the rigors of rigordom to see what's going on in LJville.

kaneko was giving away some sweetly feminine icons yesterday, and I snagged one (points). The initial is a placeholder until I find just the right lyric or line to use. Thanks, kaneko!
Lots of 100 memes popped up! Those were fun, and I enjoyed scanning lists to see what I had in common (or not) with you all. Don't know who started this one, but it was one of the better memes I've seen. I'm already toying with the idea of a Second Hundred Things About Me list.
rossetti's linked to three scans of Orlando Bloom in Face magazine. I'm not feeling the bizarre kabuki-like eyeliner in two of the pictures, but the cover is awfully nice.

Pirates of the Carribean seems to be the movie of choice this weekend. With Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom as the stars, I can't say I'm surprised. Mmmmm, Orlando. I have a feeling I'll be buying the DVD.
