Fandom and ass-kickage!

I've been missing in action for a while and I'd like to take the time now to catch up. My offline life has been kicking holy hell out of me lately; nothing I'll get into right now except to say that it hasn't been fun. Seems like just when you think you've got enough crap on your plate, some laughing ass of a lesser diety decides that there's just enough uncrapified space left for...more crap! I'm hereby exchanging my plate for a platter and I'm heading toward the all-you-can-eat line. ::le sigh::

And now happier things. Fandom!

1) Lance. Jeebus, Lance! He certainly evolved into quite a handsome creature, did he not? Friggin' hot arms, unbelievably creamy skin, great hands, and now...the sexiest neck *ever.* Like, *ever*. JC is my favorite and I adore him more than my CD collection, but ay chihuahua, Lance has one lickable neck!

2) ThisPopLife!Lance. Found out that my favorite player is leaving the game. I have no idea who the person behind the man was, but I adore him/her with a shameless, squeeing passion. One of these days I may ask around, see who it was, but for the moment I'll let him/her remain faceless. I always admired the way this person conducted him/herself both in and out of character: as classy, cool and smart as I'd like to think the real Lance is. I'll miss him/her. ::smooch:: :-)

3) JC's hair! And the subsequent maybe not-cuttage of same! According to post at the JJB, a fan met him and got a pic, though sadly, you can't really tell what the hair looks like. According to the report, JC was wearing red capris. !!! How can you not love him? Seriously, I ask you.

4) Faux!JC. Has anyone seen the Corona commercial featuring a slender young man with curly brown shoulder-length hair? He's walking away from the camera, wearing yellow beach shorts and nothing else. Something about his build reminds me very much of JC. And as I told scot_ty, the walking away from the camera reminds me of BMU, except with yellow beach shorts and beer instead of leather pants and dancers. JC!!!!

5) Last but not least, scot_ty! She's fabulous, and I'm very, very lucky to know her. She makes me cry with her sweetness, and I owe her tons of hugs. (((Scotty))) Love her muchly. :-)

Amen to that! I know what you mean - but just hang in there and battle it out. I've found that I learn something from every experience in my life, no matter how sucky it is.
