Friggin' pissed off.

LJ is a beast. A big hulking beast driven by normally nice people who climb into the driver's seats of their opinions and steamroll them the hell over whoever and whatever they want.

"It's my LJ! It's my opinion!" Well, that's nice but a little courtesy wouldn't kill you, you moron. God forbid anyone should disagree with you and whatever you think, because you're right, of course. Your opinion is the only one, and if not the only one, certainly the only one that matters.

Grow up.

I'm sitting here so angry that I have a burning knot at the base of my throat and too many things to say that I probably shouldn't. Someone I like has been hurt, and I don't know how to help. I'm sitting here with my teeth clenched and bile in my throat and I'm completely pissed off at the narrow minds and busybody attitudes that permeate certain sections of the fandom.

And now I'm going to go because I don't like being pissed off.

Oh dude, [wince] I've been pissed on in a few LJ brawl-ish disagreements me self, and let me tell ya; the taste that was left in my mouth was not an enjoyably tasty one. Really.

(Some!!!) Peaople suck!!!

So hike up your sweats, and relax into a fluffy comforter with a couple o’ JuC-centric fics, a discman blastin’ “Blowin’ Me Up (With Her Love)” and "(And She Said) Take Me Now" on auto repeat... dude, relaxation shall come in the form of loverly, breathless panting, moaning, and grunts galore!

Or like, you could go update some (much awaited!!!! <---four exclamation points, dude! four) fic, or start some fresh ones... just sayin'. ;-P

I'm right there with you. I don't know what happened, but I'm sorry people pissed you off, and I'm sorry someone is hurt because of other people.

Some days it's just best to move through fandom with your fingers stuffed in your ears, singing "la la la". Some days it's good to take a big stick with you. :)

I love (read: hate) when people hide behind the ol' "It's my LJ and it's my opinion, so there!" line instead of actually, like, listening to another side of an argument. You know, because it really hurts to just listen. :P
