Watching the Winter Olympics...hooray! Apolo Ohno is a total doll, and I can't wait to see Shaun White (still a total sweetie). The opening was interesting. Two high points for me were the piece featuring the flying guy, which I found quite moving, and the whales (with spouting action!) swimming across the floor of the venue, which was too short and the coolest thing evar. Also, as much as I love Apolo Ohno, if he shaved his little soul patch I wouldn't complain.

Also also, you can keep your Superbowl commercials; commercials for the Olympics are my faves. The Procter&Gamble one with little kids playing the athletes? My favorite so far. :-)

This meme looks like all kinds of fun.

Not sure if I can tag you since I haven't officially meme'd yet, but let's do it anyway. ;-) How about...

A show centered around a society of magic and magic users, a darker, adult tale, more Jonathan Norrell and Mr. Strange than Harry Potter, unless it's the later Potter books.

Isn't it? I've just spent a pleasant couple of hours reading all the entries, checking out the cast lists. I love how involved some people got, with opening and closing themes, and how long the show runs, etc. It looks like *tons* of fun. :-D
