The Chasez...his own label?
So...the Chasez has his own/has started his own record label? Weh? Well, that's what Teen Music's (shut up) telling me anyway:
Chasez Plans Comeback Album
Nov 13, 2007 - World Entertainment News Network
Former N 'Sync star JC Chasez has enlisted the help of British rocker James Bourne to help reignite his music career.
Chasez, 31, scored several hit singles with the Bye Bye Bye hitmakers, but has failed to find the solo success enjoyed by ex-bandmate Justin Timberlake.
But the singer hopes working with former Busted star Bourne, 24, will help him tap into the new generation of pop music.
He says, "I've been in and out of the studio a lot lately, working with all kinds of different artists, producers and writers."
"I had a couple sessions with James Bourne. He is a great writer."
Chasez will release the album under his own record label after losing his contract with Jive Records earlier this year.

Did you sign up for SeSa yet? Hmmm? ;)

Yesssssssssssssss, that sounds...yes! I think I remember rumblings of him actually signing with Interscope. And yay! his own label under Justin's umbrella! Your icon is love, and so appropriate. :-)

Oh noes! Make the Yuletide Gay...the deadline is like, *NOW* isn't it??? I need to hustle my buns in that direction. Thanks for the reminder!

(but I still want Darren Hayes to sign him.)

Is Darren Hayes the one that sounds like Smokey Robinson's stepchild?

Yes! That's actually what I meant, the guy in Savage Garden who sounds like Smokey Robinson's stepchild. ;-) I forget sometimes that I'm the only one hardwired into my brain and therefore know exactly what I mean at all times. You should see the hilarity that ensues when I do that at work. ;-)

I agree, as do all the pretty JCs in your icon. I *love* the two with the floppy hair. Such a lovely boy. ::le sigh::

LOL! Choco-curls! I *love* that. That reminds me of one of my favorite JC descriptions ever, when some critic called him "NSync's dark-haired beauty." GUH. Kills me every time. ;-)

...and it's not pathetic at ALL that I know exactly where the quotes are from. In any case, this doesn't seem right. I'm pretty sure he's not working with Bourne on HIS stuff. And creating a record label would be a lot of money for JC when he could just release it independently to the same basic effect.

Dude, please. None of us has any shame when it comes to the Chasez. ;-)

That would be interesting! :)

Wouldn't it? :-D

How much does it annoy me when people say he lost his contract with Jive. HE left THEM. at least that's what I prefer to think.

JC has the worst PR person on earth
Scotty and I were talking about that last night. Honestly, the boy needs to open his wallet and get someone who's actually going to work for him.

I can't wait to see it confirmed. Not that teenmusic.com isn't a trustworthy source, or anything...
