JC on Isaac - not yet!
Because I'm lame, I'm going to do the logging while watching thing.
Eee! JC on the preview just now - he looked so cute! I love the short hair, sooooo much. Aiii, sounds like he's not going to be in the studio, they're going to Madame Tussaud's wax museum. :-(
Love Isaac's leopard loafers. I want a pair!
S. Epatha Merkerson is a fun guest. I remember her from the Pee Wee Herman show! Reba the mail lady! I didn't know it was her first gig, though. Lawrence Fishburn was on Pee Wee too, but I can't remember the character's name. He was a cowboy...dammit, I've got to Google it. Cowboy Curtis! I loved Pee Wee Herman.

One of my favorite bits from the special was when he showed the film clips from the fifties. All these kids were in the cafeteria line loading up their trays and one little boy got a big ol' slab of cake. At the end of the clips, Pee Wee made that Pee Wee face and said, "Is that a big enough piece of cake, or what?" It doesn't sound funny, but the way he said it in that crrazy Pee Wee voice and with the Pee Wee face was insanely hilarious.

I wonder if it's on DVD.

It might be the crack talking, but I'm pretty sure it's available. Ooh, wait a sec...the HBO special, maybe not. :-( Then again...possibly!

And I am mad as a hornet that my cable system does't carry the Style channel. We seem to get everything else, why not that?

I know! We get Anime on Demand, which is nice, but not the Anime Channel. Weh???
Cowboy Curtis! I was a devoted Pee Wee's Playhouse watcher
I loved that show! One of the best segments had Cowboy Curtis talking about his new boots. I think he was waiting for them to come in the mail. Do you remember that one? I just remember this exchange:
Curtis: You know what they say about big feet.
Pee Wee: No what?
Curtis: Big boots!
Which was a total riff, of course, on the more adult version of the big feet/big somewhere else! thingie. ;-)
It always kills me to remember that hilarious drawl when he said "Big boots!"
