So, once again I'm irritated that I'm missing what's probably really good stuff, because I can't stand Chris/Justin. I'm trying to work through these issues, though, so I can immerse myself in the friggin' TONS of TimberTrick that await me when I get over this squick.

If I had one Sync!slash wish, it would be that all the Ch/Ju in the fandom would turn into...hmmm. A friggin' TON of TimberKitten would be enjoyable. A friggin' TON of TrickyFish would also be acceptable.

And I like Chris! I do! I love the "time out" picture from CosmoGirl, where they're in the cover pose, but Chris is off to the side, biting his fingernails, it looks like, while talking to Joe. This is cute! He looks great! I love him with Lance, and I drool like a fool when he's with my baby, JC. But pair him with Justin and I flee.

I can read just about any pairing, if it's written well, but there are some I can only stand to read if they're written REALLY well, and TimberTrick is one of those. It just... doesn't do it for me, ya know?

And forget writing it. So far I've been pretty limited in the pairings I've been able to manage to write (like, JC has to be 1/2 of it, basically!).

My new JuCFu icon is in honor of a story I'm writing that has a kinda sorta triangle going on, but not really. A little bit, but not. And that's about as TimberTricky as I get.

And you're a step ahead of me, at least you can read the good stuff, I still haven't gotten that far with my T/T issues.

I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you that I'm not quite sure how I survived reading Awake and Wuv. Twu Wuv. Those stories killed me dead, dead, I tell you, but first they made me squeal like a little girl before dissolving me into a puddle of JC/Justin-lovin' goo. Just checked your page and I see there's a story you're warning people about. Off to read!

and dude, i understand what you're saying about TimberTrick. it doesn't squick me, but i don't read much of it because i mostly only read JC-related fic. (i'm biased toward My Diva. big surprise!) but i gotta say that i have the same squicky feeling about TrickyFish that you do about TimberTrick. i just can't get near it. well, unless of course they're a secondary couple in say someone's TimberKitten story...*wink wink*.

Oh, how I wish I could take the credit for that one, but I can't. If meeting the Syncsters depended on me telling where I'd first heard that nick, I couldn't do it. :-(
