Yay ! New Year's window shopping!
It's a new year! Nine minutes in, even!
Wrote that last night before I decided I needed to take more meds and fall face first into my big, comfy bed. So yes! January 01, 2006! Happy New Year to all. I'm about to head out to Dad's for a few hours.
Waaah, still slightly crampy AND I WISH IT WOULD STOP. Did take my mind off of it for a while with a little window surfing...
[Handbags]
Charles David: London Straw Small Satchel. I've been jonesing for a straw bag for summer, and this just might be it. Hmmm, roomy but sleek. Waaaaaaaaant.
DKNY Handbags: Antique Calf w/Pockets Satchel. I think this bag wants to follow me home. Yay! I could see myself with this bag. Not sure about the color, but I like the style, like the leather. That luggage tag would come off.
Kenneth Cole New York: Oval Exposed Satchel. Oh my squee, I could *so* see me with this bag. Like...yes. Oversized but sleek, and the styling is understated but elegant. I *really* like this bag.
Michael Kors: Concrete Jungle Satchel. Oh yeah, another one that I could very easily see on my arm. Much bigger on the model than I expected. Mmmmm. Me like.
DKNY: Antique Calf With Studs Shopper. Didn't like this in orange, but the same bag in yellow appealed to me. I think I'd have to see it in person. Studs, big buckles and a big closure. Hmmm. Interesting, though. Maybe in white? (Yes, much better.)
[Totes]
Pollini: Green P Large Tote. There's something about this that I like. Too big for a bag, though, at least for me. I'd use it as an everyday tote with a smaller purse. And it's green! Not crazy about the zipper dangles, but I might be able to overlook them.
Lucky: Easy Rider Suede Tote With Fringe And Beads. Aiii! The perfect "living life out of my bag" bag. Huge, hippie-ish and suede. Looks dark green in the pic, but it says it's black. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay much bigger than my usual bags, but I think I could love this.
Monsac: Cilantro Grand Tote. Nothing outstanding or glamourous, but serviceable, in an everyday workhorse kind of way.
[Shoulderbags/Hobos]
Lumiani: 212-3 NA. No fun name, so I'll assume this is the model number. Man, this doesn't look like much off the arm, but I *love* it on the model. Cool hardware details on the strap, but understated. I could definitely buy this.
Hype: Nina Hobo. Oh. My. Squee. Green. I love green! Hmmm.
Tommy Bahama: Tobago Stripe Hobo. Maybe for summer. Not quite me, but I like the colors.
Calvin Klein: Sueded Calf. Wow, this thing's huge! Nice, but I don't know if it's $443.00 worth of nice.
Vin Baker: Christy Shoulder Bag. Has a vintage, 'deal of a lifetime at the thrift shop' kind of look. Olive! Gorgeous color. I could buy this.
Via Spiga: Celeste Shoulder Satchel. I'm surprised that I like this one. Bigger than expected, and I like the design. Unfortunately, I'm not too keen on metallic leather - though this is on the understated side of the metallics line. Hmmm. I think I could see myself with this bag.
MAXX New York: Rugged Studs Flap Satchel. Cool bag! I think I'd be willing to give this one a try. Ominously, a little message on the site says that once existing stock has been sold, there'll be no more inventory for this one. Eeee! I could see me with this.
Frye: Faye Shoulder Bag. Hmmm. Very simple. I could see me with this.
Hype: Natasha Satchel. Looks much nicer on the shoulder than I expected. Not bad.
Rafe New York: Chestnut Hill Pauline Medium Satchel. Squee! Love this! Adorable. Don't know if it's quite me, but it's *very* cute - I'd definitely give this one a try. Good for spring, summer. Might be cute to use as an everyday tote with a smaller purse.
Pollini: Myriam Signature Bag. *Very* cool bag, though I'd have expected a more substantial strap to complement the design - maybe not a more substantial strap, but a more substantial way to anchor the strap to the bag. Seems a little...delicate. Still, very, very tempting. Would make a nice everyday tote with a smaller purse. Kind of vintage, like a cool thrift shop find.
