Listening to Die Fantastischen Vier, stuff I haven't given a spin since being bitten hard by the Nsync cuties. Michi Beck has a sexy as hell voice. Hmmmmm, *squeal*! Damn, give Lance the lyrics to Sie ist weg and let him put that sexy porn voice to good use.
Holy god, there's a thought: Lance rap/singing a song with a sexy-ass beat in *another* *freaking* *language.* Excuse me while I spontaneously combust. And yeah, I think German is sexy. I also prefer foreign films to be subtitled, thank you very much.
Aiii! Here's another one: Thomas D und die Philosophie. I can see Lance in the video for this one, doing the same white room dancing-with-arms things he did for Pop. Hey, give him the same set, but spray paint it black. Dress him in black leather pants, a black leather cuff on one wrist, his chunky silver bracelet on the other, and maybe a black silk shirt, unbuttoned, over a black wifebeater. Lance, snarling and looking his aloof-ly beautiful best. Yowza, I think I just impregnated myself.
K, as long as I'm indulging myself with thoughts of Lance covering Fantastischen Vier songs, I'd have him do Krieger, too. Just the thought of those sweet southern lips wrapping themselves around a string of German words...am I the only person who thinks this would be dead sexy?

Well, I love the opening bit, Und Täglich Grüssen Fanta Vier-Romantic Fighters. Alles Schon Gesehen for sure - have no idea what they're singing about, but it has a sexy groove that Lance would be swingin' singin'. Le Smou would be fun, mostly because of the gospelly disco chick backup singers who pop in for the chorus. ROFL! I'm getting definite Lance-dance vibes for this one, with the rolling arm move that happens in Pop. If I weren't so frigging lazy I'd turn on the video and snag the lyric that it goes with.
Back to my dream Lance cover CD! Well, the dream German cover CD, anyway...
Weiter Als Du Denkst - oh, hell yeah! This one has a sample of Diana Ross singing, "Think I'm going out of my head." How could I *not* add this??? Has a funky, subdued thing happening. I see a That's the Way Love Goes style video for this one. Millionen Legionen, because it would sound good wrapped up in his voice. *sigh* That's the end of the dream CD. Wait! I'm feeling a PaintShop urge creeping up on me!

Pretty Pretty makes a good title, no? Because he is, and Barbarella was a weird movie, which makes a line from a weird movie a good title for a weird CD. Lance singing German cover tunes *would* be a weird CD, but I'd be buying it like nobody's business. *eg*
Hey, Lance! Make this record! You can even use the graphic, if you like. It could be an offshoot of A Happy Place, or a melding of FreeLance and A Happy Place. A Happy FreeLance Place, or something like it.
I also like the idea of Lance using just his last initial when he ventures forth as a solo act. I think he could carry it off. Get that cool eyebrow arching thing going...he'd be a diva, no question about it. Omigawd, disco diva porn voice Lance!
