Squee!

I'm doing the Squee! dance because I have another friend. Laugh if you will, but this pleases me.

The JC/Chris fic is going nicely, and I stayed up til way late in the nighttime to write. I think it was 2:00am, which doesn't sound too bad, except I had to get up at 7:00am. And I woke up at 6:00am. I'm a little tired, but I want to write.

Oops! Dinner time. Later, babes.

Backstreet sadness...

This is very odd, and probably a clear signal that BSB is no longer a BOY band. I can't even imagine what their teeny fans must be thinking.

I'm not a BSB fan - not because I don't like them, but because I've only heard the hits on the radio and never explored further - but as I read the reports, I kept thinking of all the fic I've seen that deals with this very subject. Boyband boys with horrible, real life problems, and what happens next. And I couldn't help thinking: What if that had been JC/Joey/Chris/Justin/Lance? It's weird.

This kind of thing is sad and horrible when it happens to anyone, but I can't imagine what it must be like living in a global fishbowl, having the attention of millions turned on you and your problems. Having too many people captivated by your *happiest* times would be unnerving enough. This must be utter hell.

I truly, deeply feel for AJ and the rest of the boys. It's just begun. :-(
